Abrielle's Fool

Abrielle's Fool is my first Hot-Shots story with Total E-Bound!

Here's the blurb for my short sexy FREE read:

Abrielle always harboured as secret crush for Lance. He's ultra smart, reserved and sexy as hell with his gorgeous green eyes. As head of IT, Lance is known for his lack of tolerance for small talk and has unknowingly earned the nickname, "Super Nerd."

When a computer crisis requires Lance's expertise, Abrielle's forced to rely on him to save the day and is mortified when he learns about his office nickname by mistake. To make things right, she'll have to answer his question truthfully and her response sparks a steamy escapade they'll both never forget!

Excerpt:

Abrielle walked through the office, not surprised to see it deserted. No one stuck around this late on a Friday night unless there was some issue to contend with. The vending machine in the break room beckoned her forward. She gave her dollar and waited for the bottle to fall before she reached into grab it. The first sip soothed her parched dry mouth, but did nothing to melt the huge lump in her throat.

You don't have to ask him out.

True. But, a big part of her wanted to. There was something about him that drew her in. She wanted to get to know him outside of the workplace. Her heart thumped wildly against her chest as she walked back to her desk. She was going to do it.

Abrielle rounded the corner and bit the inside of her cheek as Lance glanced up from her computer to watch her approach. The look on his face made her pause for a second. He looked pissed off. "Lance, is something wrong?"

The hard look he gave her made stomach tighten.

"Your computer is fine. I'm running a system diagnostic to make sure everything is operating as it should."

There was something wrong. He was normally aloof, but what she was sensing from him now was downright chilly.

"Oh, okay. I want to thank you again for getting our department out of a bind." Abrielle studied his face, noting the flash of annoyance in his eyes before it disappeared behind a blank stare.

"Like I said, I was just doing my job. Have a good weekend."

Her phone vibrated and she tore her eyes away from Lance's to see her phone lit up. She had gotten a text message while gone.

Lance brushed passed her as she grabbed her phone to see the message in vivid block letters on the rectangular screen:

Seriously, Super Nerd is totally do-able...don't cha think? :)

Abrielle grinned. Hell yeah. She looked up at her computer screen and froze. Stacey has sent the message to both of her email addresses. Her friend's message had popped up on her computer. There was no way Lance hadn't seen Stacey's text.

Damn!

Without thinking, she got up and strode over to Lance's desk. The floor was quiet as she got closer to his workspace, confirming that they were the only two left on the floor. She found Lance with his headphones on, clicking away on his keyboard. "Lance?"

He didn't respond to her. She watched him furiously pounding out keystrokes as she stepped closer to his side. He glanced up at her and in an instant, Abrielle was certain he'd seen the insulting text.

"Is there a problem?" he asked taking his headphones off.

"No...I mean...I dunno."

"What?" He frowned, his face a mixture of subtle irritation and polite indifference.

Fix it, Abrielle, fix it.

"I'd like to buy you a beer for coming to my rescue this evening."

"Not necessary." He went back to typing on his keyboard, a clear dismissal sign.

"You really helped me and the design team tonig-"

"Look, you're appreciative, I get it. You don't have to pretend like you really want to buy me a drink."

Abrielle froze, shocked by the harshness of his clipped words. She blinked, trying to organize her thoughts to respond as Lance leaned back in his chair. He laced his hands behind his head and stared at her. "You saw the text message."

"It popped up on your screen, kinda hard to miss."

A moment of silence passed between them. His hard gaze raked over her and Abrielle felt her already racing heart beat a little faster. For a second, she was certain she saw a glint in his eyes that hinted more towards male interest than annoyance, but she couldn't be sure. "How do you even know that text was in reference to you?" The bold question flew out of her mouth, as she straightened her shoulders in an attempt to diffuse the situation.

Lance laughed, surprising her again with a rare glimpse of his unguarded handsome face. "Do you think I'm a fool?"

"What? No!" Her palms felt sweat as he stood up, making her lift her face to his.

"Are you telling me I'm wrong?"

Abrielle rubbed her hands on her skirt as she drew in a breath.

"Come, Abrielle, tell the truth."

A flash of heat rushed through her as he waited for her response. Something was happening to her body as he held her gaze. She was embarrassed and nervous, but there was no denying the steadily building current of arousal coursing through her blood. Her reaction didn't make any sense, but the longer her stared at her the hotter she felt.

"I know what you guys call me around here." He took a step forward, narrowing the gap between them.

"I'm sorry you saw that tex-"

"I don't want you to apologize." He crossed his arms and fabric tightened around his biceps.

"You don't?" She couldn't get a grip on what was happening.

Lance shook his head. "No. I want to know your answer to Stacey's question."

Abrielle's heart skipped a beat. "Excuse me?" He hadn't physically moved and yet he was crowding her personal space.

"How would you answer her question? Yes or no? Tell me the truth."

"Lance-"

"C'mon. It's the least you can do. I did save your butt after all."

His wicked grin sent another tremor of awareness through her. She had to turn the tables, gain back control of the situation. "Yes you did."

"So..."

"Yes. My response to Stacey would have been yes." Just admitting the truth released a flood of wetness between her thighs. She watched his green eyes darken as his gaze dropped down to her lips.

Lance shifted his attention from her mouth to meet her eyes. "Say it aloud."

"Say what?"

He took another step forward and only a few inches stood between them. "Say out loud what you would have texted back to Stacey."

Abrielle dropped her face from his as she cleared her throat. "Are you serious?"

"Very."

How could she have pegged him as the quiet, passive type?

Hearts & Diamonds

Hearts & Diamonds, a contemporary erotic romance is available now with Total E-Bound Publishing!

Here's the blurb:

Nia Sanders knows diamonds. She appreciates the heart-felt emotions of her customers buying them. When federal agent, Quin Rios saves her life in the middle of a violent jewel heist, she finds herself attracted to the sensual possibilities beneath his uber professional, self-contained persona.

Determined to keep her safe as he solves the case, Quin can't let his attraction to Nia distract him. The heat of their fiery passion consumes them as they both struggle to control their emotions...neither are prepared to lose their heart.

Excerpt:

Nia gasped as her mouse slipper slipped beneath her and she stumbled towards Quin. The water hit him seconds before she fell to her knees in front of him. “I am so sorry.” She blinked in sheer mortification as the liquid seeped into the dark fabric on his thighs. Her gaze drifted further up his leg to see the unmistakable bulge inches away from her.

“It’s okay.”

Nia dragged her eyes up from his pants to meet his heated gaze. “No, it’s not.”

Quin ran his finger down the tip of her nose. “It is. I needed to cool off anyway.”

A ribbon of desire coursed along every nerve ending in her body as he stood up and offered both hands. “Let me help you up.”

She took them, visualising an actual spark of electricity from his touch as he yanked her up from the ground. “Thanks, Quin.” She lifted her chin, saw the same longing in his eyes and something twisted in her stomach as they stared at one another. She laced her fingers with his as time stood still. “Kiss me.”

The whispered request shocked her. She waited with baited breath for him to move, her words, her heart lay before him. Just when she would’ve pulled away, he groaned and pulled her against his chest.

His hands skimmed up her arms, into her hair as he kissed her. She melted into him, wrapped her arms around his neck and welcomed his fierce kiss. He took over and she wanted him to. Her moan of pleasure only encouraged him to delve deeper, tasting and stroking her tongue as he backed her up against the dining room wall. She could barely breathe, lost in the rhythm of his masterful kisses. One hand left her hair to cup her ass, kneading the soft curve beneath her dress. She ran her hands through his hair, loving the feel of the thick texture between her fingers as he pressed his hard cock against her belly.

“You’re so sexy,” Quin said, breaking away to look down at her.

“Ditto.” She closed her eyes as he claimed her lips again, this time in a soft, sensual caress that left her boneless. He ended the kiss and her body craved more.

“Quin…” She sighed as his lips brushed her temple.

“Nia—”

The shrill sound of her phone ringing broke the moment, stopped her from making another brazen request of his body. She pulled away from his embrace to reach for the handheld laying on the dining room table. “Hello?”

“I needed those diamonds.”

Nia froze.

The cold voice on the other end of the line was unmistakable.

“Tess?” She whipped around to look at Quin already on alert as he tapped his watch and indicated for her to keep on talking. “Where are you?”

“Closer than you think.”

The line went dead as Nia stared at Quin. She handed him the phone in a daze.

“What did she say?”

“She said she ‘needed’ those diamonds. I think she threatened me.”

“Tell me exactly what she said.” He took out his cell as she repeated the conversation. She watched him for a second, noting how easy it was for him to shift gears. Could he really have just given her the best damn kisses of her life? One wouldn’t think it’d happened now as he relayed what had happened and gave out orders to whoever was on the other line.

As You Wish

There exists within our world a brotherhood of Djinns...genies bound by magic, bound by honour to fulfil the desires of their masters. Enter their realm with caution! Danger lurks between dimensions, fiery passions ignite without control and wishes are granted for those brave enough to ask...

As You Wish, an erotic paranormal romance is available now with Total E-Bound Publishing!

Blurb: A race against time to save a loved one from supernatural forces leaves Karis, a novice clairvoyant, no choice but to trust a very sexy genie granting three wishes and an offer to help her tap into her psychic abilities...if she'll come willing to his bed!

Excerpt:

With her eyes still closed, Karis kept chanting the mantra, “This isn’t real, this isn’t happening.” If she said it enough times, it would have to be true.

“Oh, yes, I am real and this is definitely happening.” A deep voice filled the room.

Her eyes flew open and for the second time in less than twenty-four hours, she screamed.

A strange man stood in her living room within arm’s reach! He towered above her, standing well over six feet with rich mahogany skin and a thick muscular build. Her gaze dipped to his bare chest and tapered waist. Ripped oblique muscles disappeared beneath the loose white pants riding low on his hips. Heat flooded her cheeks as she tore her eyes from his torso back to his face.

He held her shocked gaze with the most beautiful hazel eyes she had ever seen. He had the chiselled profile that would inspire fantasies and fantastic works of art. From the crown of his bald head to the soles of his bare feet, his bold features set him apart from the average male. He exuded confidence, evidenced in his relaxed stance and the cool sexy smile directed at her. A stylish goatee encircled his full lips and she couldn’t stop her eyes from travelling over the rest of his rock hard body. She took in every detail from his strong jaw line, thick neck, and the most impressive set of abs on full display. He was sexy as hell, but his sex appeal did nothing to calm her racing heart or the stark realisation she needed to call her doctor now.

“Oh, my God,” she whispered again, feeling light-headed.

The gorgeous apparition chuckled, flashing a perfect smile. “Not quite, but I get that a lot.”

She was losing her mind, hallucinating now in broad daylight.

“Tell me, how I may serve you?” The rich sound of his voice flowed over her like a warm summer breeze.

At least she was hallucinating about a hot guy and not the hideous creature in her dreams. She sucked in a breath as the half-naked man approached her and the entire room began to spin.

“No,” Karis whispered. She took one faltering step backwards and fainted.
